What can I do if it doesn’t work at the desired resolution or refresh rate?

Make sure your graphics card and monitor both support the resolution and refresh rate you’re trying to use. Update your graphics card drivers, and if you’re using a TV, update the TV’s firmware to the latest version.

Can this cable connect to a gaming console?

Yes, as long as the console supports DisplayPort output. Most consoles only have HDMI, so this cable will not work with them.

Why am I seeing flicker, blackout, or stuttering at high refresh rates?

Check that your GPU and monitor both support DP2.1 UHBR20. Update GPU drivers and monitor firmware. For stable performance at max bandwidth, shorter cables are recommended.

Can I use this cable with older DisplayPort devices?

Yes. It’s backward compatible with DP1.4/1.2 and earlier. Performance is limited to the highest resolution and refresh rate your devices support.

Why is the maximum cable length limited?

High-bandwidth video signals need strict integrity. Certified DP80 cables are shorter (1–2m). For longer runs at 8K or 4K high refresh rates, use an active optical DisplayPort cable.
